Will it spend extra internet traffic?
No, because your Tesla is connected to the hotspot wifi of your mobile phone, the screen data is transfered through the local wifi.
Why I cannot use while driving?
IMPORTANT!!! If you cannot use while driving, you should check the option "Remain connected in Drive" in the WiFi setting dialog on Tesla's screen.
Can I play video file while I’m driving?
Due to safety concern, drivers must focused on driving. But passengers can watch video playing on Tesla’s screen.
Which mode should I choose?
- Phone screen when driving: its typical case is using navigator apps such as Waze or Google Map. It can work when your Tesla is in driving mode.
